A pillarless Mercedes V8 coupé and another car I’ve always wanted the opportunity to get my hands on. I’ll work through what it needs mechanically and cosmetically, learn along the way and document the whole process.

This project is at an earlier stage than the S500 — there’s less to report yet, but that will change as work gets underway. I’ll post updates here as the picture becomes clearer: what it needs, what I try, what works and what doesn’t.
